Reliable, Cost Effective Chimney Sweeps
Chimney sweeps can be booked around you – we offer early morning, evening and weekend appointments between the hours of 08:30 – 19:30 during the week and happy to schedule weekend appointments if needed. Usually chimney sweeps take up to 45mins per flue, time and costs varies depending on the number of chimney flues that require cleaning. Chimney sweeping costs are for chimneys in the local Wyedean area, for jobs that are further away they may incur additional travel supplement, Jobs taking more than 1 hour are charged at £45/hour thereafter, such as a bad birds nest where half the chimney is blocked.

| Cowl fitting is £150, supplied and fitted, we normally use Euro Cowl Ltd, Euro Top Guards for active multi fuel appliances (wood burners and open fires) whilst cheaper ones are available they generally last years longer and are better value in the long run. The stainless steel raw finished versions are our first choice but painted stone and terracotta versions are available. For disused flues £135 a Euro Topcap is recommended, they shelter from the elements and allow the flue to breath helping to protect from damp problems in the chimney breast. We are Rodtech trained and approved to use their innovative chimney cleaning system of Click rods and whippet expanding brush heads, this is extremely effective for clearing heavy tar build up or birds nests. Rodtech power sweeping equipment is utilised where necessary to make the sweep more effective where improved access is needed.
Extra care is taken to protect your property's by using protective floor coverings to ensure no damage to your carpets or furnishings, It's recommended that areas close to and directly in front of your fireplace/chimneys are cleared prior to having your chimney cleaned. Our working tools are kept neat and tidy in order to minimise any impact whilst carrying out chimney sweeps, this is to safe guard your property from damage and ensures it remain safe throughout.
Chimney Cowl Fitting Service
Cowl fitting is £80, we recommend Euro Cowl Ltd, Euro Top Guards for active multi fuel appliances (wood burners and open fires) whilst they are around £60 and cheaper ones are available they generally last years longer and are better value in the long run. I can supply the cowl or can fit your own provided if you wish.
